RF Systems Engineer, Senior - (Aberdeen) in Baltimore, Maryland For Sale
Job Number: xxxxxxxx Key Role: Join an engineering team that conducts Cyber research, analysis, and characterization of complex RF and wireless telecommunication systems and electronic hardware devices. Design, develop, and specify system requirements, performance verification configurations, and methodologies and analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Guide users in formulating requirements, advise the client on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies to support the development of acquisition and technical documentation in accordance with DoD-xxxx processes. Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, develop system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans, and interact with the government regarding systems engineering technical considerations. Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with systems engineering -Experience with test and evaluation -Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) engineering -Experience with the full range of systems engineering functions, including requirements analysis, design, trade studies, prototyping, integration, and test and evaluation -Experience with RF and wireless communication systems -Experience with RF test equipment -Ability to work well within a group environment and interface with the client directly -Ability to work directly with government personnel, other contractor support personnel, and senior management -TS/SCI clearance -BS degree in EE Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Electronic Warfare or Cyber operations preferred -Knowledge of EW and survivability systems preferred -Knowledge of Army Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) systems preferred -Knowledge of the Defense acquisition life cycle preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
