The Health Claims Product Manager is accountable for ownership of the product, including prioritizing the product backlog to maximize business value, and satisfying the needs of the overall product roadmap. The successful candidate will elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of all stakeholders. Stakeholders include customers and their end users, prospective clients, third party vendors, implementation and support teams and a variety of stakeholders across the organization. The Product Manager serves as the conduit between our customers and other stakeholders and to the delivery teams to which enhancements flow for implementation.
The Health Claims Product Manager has a solid understanding of the healthcare industry and hands:on experience with an enterprise wide claims platform. In addition, experience with Product Management disciplines as well as Agile software development methodologies is critical. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands on contribution to product deliverables.
Key Job Responsibilities
:Team with Sales, Services, Marketing, and Product Development to define, develop, market, sell and deliver the Product and the Product Value proposition in alignment with the companys strategic direction
:Identify product enhancements that balance a favorable return on investment with customer needs and ensure that products are profitable; define and hit revenue and margin targets
:Lead the decision making process on product release scoping and produce these deliverables : Product Roadmap, Product Prioritization Matrix, Product Charter with key requirements and clear scope definition
:Partner with Technology to communicate product requirements and determine viable development strategies, deliverables, and release dates
:Lead Voice of the Customer programs and distill feedback into product decisions
:Author product marketing documents and contribute content to monthly customer newsletter, blog postings and other product related updates to customer portal
:Support the Sales Team efforts through presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, prospect and customer visits, competitive write:ups, white papers, and event support
Required For Success
:Bachelors, with preferred focus in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
:5+ years business analysis, project management or software product development experience required.
:Hands:on experience with health claims payer core administration software, such as TriZetto Facets(tm) or Eldorado HEALTHpac preferred.
:1+ year product management experience; Pragmatic Marketing certification is ideal.
:Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse, geographically dispersed group including executives, managers and subject matter experts.
:Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non:technical audiences.
:Strong teamwork, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
:Strong analytical and problem:solving skills.
:Excellent organization skills; creativity and objective:oriented focus.
:Experience with Scrum, Lean, Kanban, SAFe or other agile methods.
