The ERP System Specialists primary role and responsibility is to support the implementation and ongoing operation of the SAP enterprise resource planning system with primary focus on Sales and Distribution (SD) configuration and ABAP development.Meets business requirements and objectives by developing and implementing SAP modification and/or configuration changes. Provides functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instruction by educating customers on SAP products. Solves SAP software problems by acting as a liaison for troubleshooting;investigations and analysis. Adheres to SAP standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of SAP best practices. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Accomplishes goals and performs a variety oftasks by relying on experience and judgment. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Education, Certifications and /or licenses: Bachelors degree in related field and/or equivalent technical training and work experience: experience and/or college credits can be substituted for up to 2 years of the education requirement on a year for year basis; however a minimum of 2 full years of college is required. Experience: 5 years of overall technology experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in business consulting, software solution implementation and industry expertise in the Sales and Distribution (SD) functional area of SAP.ASAP development skills a plus. Aptitude for acquiring these skills is a necessity. Knowledge/Skills: An understanding of the SAP implementation methodology is a must. Strong knowledge of SAP SO module with a focus on Pricing and Condition technique is requiredClear understanding of integration of sales and distribution module with other ERP modules such as Warehouse Management (WM), Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI) in SAP environment5 years of experience programming with Object Oriented methodology is a plus.Sound knowledge of ASAP Objects, DOC interface processing, ALE, SAPIs, SDCs, SADIs, user:exits, and Workflow is preferred.Must be a result oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.Ability to multi:task, work independently and/or within a team, attention to detail and meet deadlines.
