Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking multiple well-qualified Information System Security Officer (ISSO) / Information Assurance Officers (IAO). The ISSO will primarily be responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system (IS) for the Department’s Restricted Programs, working in close collaboration with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information System Owner (ISO). The ISSO maintains the overall IA posture for a restricted program. Responsibilities include physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness. In close coordination with the ISSM and ISO, the ISSO plays an active role in monitoring a system and its environment of operation to include developing and updating the System Security Plan (SSP), managing and controlling changes to the information system, and assessing the impact of those changes. Information systems will be approved to operate following the Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN) 6/3, Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Industrial Security Program (NISP)-National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other associated United States Government (USG) security regulations, policies, and standards.
