Job Number: xxxxxxxx Key Role: Provide the development and deployment of Cloud-based solutions. Improve the performance and capabilities of a wide variety of systems, leveraging experience. Conduct technology and performance evaluations and implement technical solutions that leverage Linux OS knowledge, Java development expertise, and experience with the development using MapReduce and the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive and Pig. Work with massive datasets, complex algorithms, and team members from a variety of specialties to solve Booz Allen's clients' most complex problems. Work as a key contributor on a collaborative, fast-growing, and highly-skilled software development team and lead development teams, as needed. Basic Qualifications: -5+ years of experience with software development and solution architecture design -5+ years of experience with programming in Java -1+ years of experience with MapReduce, including framework and Hadoop ecosystem, including the development with Hive and Pig -Experience with SDLC -Ability to script in Perl or similar languages -Ability to learn and adopt emerging technologies -TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -BA or BS degree in science technology, engineering, or mathematics field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
