Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Signal Conversion Technology department, providing world class affordable and innovative RF and Electro-Optical electronics solutions for all of our product domains. Our design engineers are responsible for the architecture, design, integration, and production support of the RF and EO conversion products that are essential to our customer’s missions. Your career in Signal Conversion Technology will involve you in some of the most challenging electrical designs, where you’ll be able to apply your engineering principles, problem solving techniques, and computer modeling skills in an engaging team environment. Roles and Responsibilities: This design/test engineer will be responsible for ‘cradle to grave’ design, hardware architecture, firmware architecture, and system integration. The engineer will be responsible for the design and integration of test and system hardware & software on several programs. Other tasks include mixed signal designs that include analog, RF, instrumentation, passive and active filters, medium and high speed digital, FPGA’s, microcontrollers, as well as data conversion techniques and circuit modeling/simulation/analysis.
