We are on the lookout for students and recent graduates seeking hands:on experience in sales and sales management
What to Expect:
:As a sales and sales management intern you can expect a rewarding and stimulating experience working with some of the largest brand names in the retail industry. The position will be focused in field operations to help clients build their brands and consumer base in the local market.
:This position will provide college students and college graduates an introductory experience to the sales and marketing industry through learning practical sales experience, hands on training and mentorship, as well as special consideration for future full time employment opportunities.
:School credit is applicable where required and references may be furnished upon successful completion of the program.
:Full time and Part time internships are available, each with a competitive compensation structure.
The sales and sales management internship operates under the direction of a Market Manager as well as a designated mentor to enhance the overall business exposure of the intern. The intern will support and coordinate sales initiatives of the team in a retail environment to promote a clients brand expand the consumer base. Full training is provided in all aspects of retail compliance, sales strategy, marketing techniques and customer service interactions.
Daily responsibilities will include:
:Attendance to sales and marketing company meetings
:Interacting with customers at corporate events
:Tracking and maintaining consumer data
:Campaign analysis and goal setting
Candidate Qualifications:
:Current student or recent graduate (BA/BS degree from an accredited university is an asset)
:Strong written and verbal communication skills
:Outgoing, personable, strong ability to engage with others face to face
:Experience in
sales/marketing/retail or restaurant industries preferred
:Natural leadership ability a plus
:Team Player with a collaborative approach to problem solving
