Senior Manager 2, Classified Information Systems (CIS) Security - Maryland - Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, Maryland For Sale

This position will be based in Baltimore/Linthicum, MD. The selected individual will manage the Computer Systems Security team of approximately 8 employees supporting the collateral and restricted program environments. The selected individual will be managing individuals supporting programs under the NISP, DoD SAPs and SCI. A diverse information systems security/information assurance background is required. The selected individual will be responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff. Responsible for providing direction to subordinates utilizing NG management guidelines & general policies. Required to oversee ISSM and computer systems security staff assigned to the organizational group. Manage the design, testing, and implementing state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Supervise a wide range of security issues including budget, manpower, architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Manage the use of encryption technology and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. Will be required to review and possibly prepare security reports to cognizant security agencies.
