Work as part of a Security Team to accomplish the tasks of securing our internal and external applications. This position will be responsible for understanding the fundamentals of vulnerability management and incident response, and will perform ongoing tasks to monitor our network and ensure that industry standard practices and compliance objectives are met. As an IT Security Engineer, you will receive direction from the Sr. IT Security Engineer for day:to:day task assignments.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configure and maintain various security products including, SIEM, Anti:virus, IDS and DLP
Configure and maintain various securities testing software and apply results to security analysis
Schedule and coordinate activities with our development teams in planning, execution, and mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
Monitoring audit and security logs for suspicious activity and investigate anomalies.
Monitor required daily reports to ensure compliance with company policy, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical assistance to Network Engineers, System Engineers and Database Administrators, in their efforts to monitor computer and networks under their control so that unauthorized use will be detected and acted upon.
Forensic analysis of application, OS, and network logs for troubleshooting and researching
