Description
Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care.
Implement all elements of Seasons Human Resource Strategy (Recruitment, On:boarding, Retention, Performance Management, Employee Development, Compensation, Rewards/Recognition, and Succession Planning) through the coaching and training of others. The Director, Human Resources (DHR) ensures compliance with Human Resources policies, procedures and practices, as well as applicable federal, state and local laws, in addition to Medicare and Joint Commission requirements. As a member of the HR team, the DHR will work closely with the HR team and Seasons site leadership to influence and drive employee behavior and outcomes, modeling behaviors and best practices which promote a positive workplace, drive business results, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
Qualification
* Bachelors Degree in HR or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
* Minimum seven years HR experience in Human Resources.
* Previous supervisory experience required.
* HR certification preferred (PHR or SPHR).
* Knowledge of federal and state employment law.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; previous (human Resources Information System (HRIS) experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as excellent customer service skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to the Seasons Hospice philosophy of care, values, mission statement and organizational culture.
