Our client is a leading consumer credit organization. The Director of Finance for Centralized Services Operations will contribute to the achievement of the operational functions business objectives by providing financial guidance and strategy. This person will report to Vice President of Finance and will be responsible for supporting financial accounting, financial reporting, financial planning, and special projects for an operation function with over 120 million in annual operating expenses. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, will have an ability to identify, manage, and resolve issues, and will have strong communication skills (both oral and written). This position is co:located in Baltimore, MD and Wilmington, DE and applicant may be asked to travel between locations based on business need. This position may also require travel to various other office locations based on business needs (approximately 10 : 15 of the time). Job Duties: Provide strategic financial direction to the Centralized Servicing Operations management team. Lead the annual financial planning process, including preparation of the yearly operating plan and the monthly estimates/projections with annual operating expenses in excess of 120 million Prepare monthly and quarterly business financial reviews for senior management team Collaborate with management to develop and track Key Performance Indicators by product and support function Scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis of business performance as it relates the ongoing Centralized Operation functions staffing needs Participation in and contribution to various ad hoc projects and analysis Job Requirements: Ideal candidate will have: An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field At least 10 years of relevant Finance experience Understanding of GAAP and management based reporting Strong Excel competency; Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
