Job Description:/h3:
Money Map Press, a growing online financial publication located in Baltimore, is currently looking for a strong Business Analyst. Activities will be focused on customer segmentation, targeting, and the measurement of marketing programs using internal and external systems.
This key contributor will use query and analysis tools to define and track key performance metrics related to the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This position involves investigating our companys activities, testing systems, and providing solutions to carry out intensive research and deep analysis. Responsibilities include summarizing and communicating strategic conclusions to senior management.
Primary responsibilities:
Weekly and monthly reporting
Website ad management
Assist in marketing aspects of product launches
Help ensure projects meet marketing goals
Contribute on user experience design and strategy
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science or concentration in business, database marketing, math, statistics, or other quantitative analytical focused field.
1 to 3 years in database related analytics.
Extensive experience with Excel; formulas, pivot tables and graphs.
Outstanding problem solving skills with a proactive approach towards assignments.
Ability to develop ad hoc reports based on specifications provided by Senior Management.
Possess great interpersonal and leadership skills, be proactive, self:motivated, and demonstrate logical and objective thinking with strong written and verbal communication.
Must be able to clearly articulate and document processes and procedures.
Highly Desirable Skills:
Coordinate multiple projects and priorities and re:prioritize as needed.
Capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Well organized and able to assume responsibility for project deliverables with limited supervision.
