Accounting Audit Senior INTERESTING WORK, PROFESSIONAL GROWTH, WORK LIFE BALANCE We are in search of a Supervisor with nonprofit and employee benefit plan audit experience to perform a variety of accounting tasks in the A&A department. This role will be based in Baltimore, MD and is a junior leadership role with the Supervisor responsible for setting an ethical and technical example for direct reports and colleagues. Responsibilities for Accounting Audit Senior Assumes full responsibility for coordinating the various phases of engagements, including staff requirements, visits to off-site work locations, client meetings, and job planning and scheduling Plans the logistics of special assignments, including work to be performed by other offices Evaluates internal controls used by clients Prepares or reviews audit programs and time budgets for subsequent approval Supports the training of other technical staff, possibly managing direct reports Evaluates working papers and ensures that engagements were performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards Aids Practice Development by creating relationship opportunities with clients and non-clients to expand our practice Requirements for Accounting Audit Senior: A bachelor's degree and CPA certification required with a minimum of 3-5 years public accounting experience.
