The HR department plans, directs, and coordinates company meetings, training, charity events, and employee activities. The HR team is familiar with regulatory compliance and federal, state, and company policies along with having the contacts and resources to help prevent or resolve employee relation and compliance issues if they arise. Position Summary: The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our customers and visitors. He/she is responsible for all front-desk and other administrative support tasks. This individual must have strong organizational skills as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. Top 3 Job knowledge/skills: 1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2. Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers 3. Ability to stop and start a project or task multiple times without errors Top 3 Responsibilities: 1. Greet and assist guests entering the corporate office 2. Answer incoming telephone calls and direct telephone calls to the appropriate individual 3. Manage vender relationships connected to the reception area (Fedex, USmail, office supply company, etc.) Essential Job Functions: Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: Answer all incoming calls from a multi-line PBX system. Transfer/route all calls and take messages as necessary. Performs inventory of all office supplies on a weekly basis. Re-stocks the company supply room as needed. Tracks all incoming packages and mail and distributes them to the appropriate individuals/departments. Processes mail and FedEx. Oversees the booking of the conference rooms. Assists with administrative support for other departments as necessary. Assists with ordering food and coordinating meetings and company events. Stocks office items throughout the corporate office daily. Sends anniversary and birthday cards to employees. Maintains phone directory. Assists with charity events. Assists executive team members with research and/or special projects as needed. Additional tasks as assigned.
