Selmer SBA Tenor Saxophone - SN 50xxx - 2700 in Baltimore, Maryland For Sale

This is a Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor saxophone.
Serial number 50xxx puts it from xxxx-xxxx.
The super balanced action horns are considered by many to be the "holy grail" of saxophones, and this horn will not disappoint, whether you are a collector, investor, or player.
The original lacquer 95+% is a beautiful dark honey color. It was re-padded several years ago by Oleg when he had his store in Studio City.
I purchased the horn from a friend who owned a music store, and he got it from the original owner.
When I purchased it,the horn had the original pads.
It was pretty much a "closet" horn. During the re-pad, the original flat metal resonators were saved and used again, helping it keep it's rich, vibrant sound.
It has the original wooden end plug, original case, and the serial number on the body and neck match.
The sound is fantastic.
Altissimo is effortless, and the bottom end can roar or have subtle sub tones.
There are no dents.
Between the rich color, the smooth action, and it's vibrant sound, it doesn't get any better.
