DW Drum Workshop Custom Exotic Mapa Burl Kit - Amazing Set $1800 in Baltimore, Maryland For Sale

For sale is my personal, custom built, DW Exotic Mapa Burl drum set. I've poured so much blood, sweat, and tears into these drums, and have hardly even played them.
I got these built directly from DW, brand new, made just for me. They are the collectors series, exotic Mapa Burl with a candy black burst lacquer. The pictures and video does not do them justice at all. They're stunning in person and seriously look like works of art. I got the latest shell technology put into these too which includes VLX, VLT, & X-Shell. Which basically is the way they lay the orienation of the wood to give them a different tonality. The 8" rack sounds deeper than most 10" toms, and the 10" sounds like a 12", etc. The 20" bass drum sounds like a freaking cannon. The snare has every possible dynamic you can think of. From the lightest to hardest hit, it catches every nuance. It's a 1/2" super solid and the way it's machined is amazing.
This is far beyond just a shell pack. It comes with a fully custom, well, 2 fully custom DW xxxx series racks that I custom built around the drums into 1 smaller footprint rack that can still hold as much as you can put on it. I used a tubing cutter and meticulously measured all around the kit to cut it down and make it much more user friendly. Of course I went with all DW xxxx series hardware too. Including the 2-legged hi-hat stand, double bass drum pedal, snare stand, and a plethora of boom arms, cymbal stackers, and memory locks. Also the Roc-N-Soc hydraulic drum throne with backrest, top of the line seat!
On top of all that, I went all out on a full extended set of Zildian K-Custom Hybrid cymbals and Zildjian Oriental Chinas (yes, 2 of them). These sound beautiful. I've played Sabian, Meinl, Paiste, and the K-Hybrids are the most versatile cymbals I've played by far!
Last but certainly not least, is the extensive list of extras. This includes all brand new Evans EC2 SST drum heads for the entire kit, Hazy 300 snare side heads, Zildjian cymbal bag/back packs, Kickport, drum carpet with buckles, etc.
