I'm currently going into my senior year at Towson University as a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies with a Drum Set Concentration. With over 9 years of playing experience, I have had the opportunity to play in many diverse ensembles such as several jazz combos, latin ensemble, percussion ensemble, symphonic winds ensemble, and a local touring math/post rock band, Yugennui.
My goal as a teacher is to cater my lessons towards each individual student's interests, rather than a hard set curriculum. I believe that you can lay a solid frame work of technique, creativity, and time keeping while introducing students to new music, ideas, and concepts from a place of familiarity.
