Rip is an agouti boy. He is part of a litter of 6 that was born to Terra and Ty at a local shelter in January of xxxx. HRS rescued the mother and babies and then later rescued the dad too! It is unusual to know the father of rabbits born in a shelter, but Ty and Terra were found together and there is no denying that Cirrus and Stratus look like Ty!
Rip earned his name when he got shoved out of his nest on his first night of life and somehow made his way under his foster mother's bed. She woke up with a bad feeling and found him snuggled with one other agouti kit under the bed. They had squirmed over 3 feet from the nest! Not too bad for 1 day old kits with no fur and their eyes still closed. He had a small tear in his one ear and retains his adventurous spirit.
Since Rip is used to living with brothers and sisters, he must be adopted to be a friend to your rabbit or in a pair.
